The film also marks a significant reunion, as Bhansali is directing Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in 18 years since launching him in Saawariya. Having previously collaborated with Alia in Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), this new venture strengthens their creative partnership. However, Love and War will be the first time Bhansali joins forces with Vicky Kaushal, making it an exciting collaboration to watch out for.
