Filmmaker and producer Rakesh Roshan turns 76 on September 6, 2025 and received a special wish from his son, Hrithik Roshan. The actor shared throwback photos with his father on social media with a sweet birthday note.
Hrithik penned in the caption, “Happy birthday to you papa. Thank you for building this resilience inside me. When life gets hard, it feels like home. Nothing can and nothing will shake the soldier in me.”
He further noted, “Today I walk in balance , as do you. Never complete , but no longer empty. I would have never reached this place of equanimity, this place of wisdom, without first traversing the hard path.”
Hrithik concluded the caption by thanking him for being the ‘best teacher’. He wrote, “Thank you for building that soldier in me. For being the best teacher one could ask for. I stand proud ( and strong) , cause I am your son. I love you.”

Hrithik accompanied the post with never-before-seen childhood pictures with his father. In the pictures, Rakesh stood next to a young Hrithik as he put the candles on the cake and clapped, while Hrithik celebrated his birthday with his family. As the family gathered for a picture, another image showed Hrithik perched on Rakesh's lap.
Hrithik and Rakesh were pictured with Pinkie and Sunaina Roshan in another family portrait. A few photos also showed a young Hrithik posing for the camera with Rakesh on his movie sets.
