The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 kicked off on Friday, September 5, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City. Celebrities from the Telugu cinema industry were honoured on the first day of the award celebrations, which will be followed by presenting the awards to the Tamil and Malayalam cinema on Saturday, September 6.
The 2024 film Kalki 2898 AD won big at the ceremony, bagging the Best Film award. Allu Arjun earned Best Actor, while Sukumar won the Best Director award. However, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with the Best Supporting Actor (Telugu) for his stellar performance in Kalki.
