Tamil movie Madharasi starring noted actor Sivakarthikeyan in the lead hit theatres today and early reviews on social media have already started coming.

The movie is directed by noted director AR Murugadoss and it also released in other regional languages like Telugu, Kannada and also in Hindi. South Indian language movies have found a die hard and loyal fan base in northern belt as well nowadays thanks to the superhit movies - Pushpa, RRR and Baahubali in the past.

Sivakarthikeyan is playing the male lead whereas Rukmini Vasanth, Biju Menon, Vidyut Jamwal are there in pivotal roles. Vidyut is seen portraying the negative lead in the movie.

Before we write anything more, lets take a look at what the netizens had to say about Madhrasi on X (formerly Twitter).

Some mentioned that the first half is explosive.

Another user called it 'cringe acting.'

Anirudh Ravichander has composed the film's score and he is collaborating with Murugadoss after Thalapathy Vijay’s Kaththi.

Sivakarthikeyan rose to fame with last year's superhit movie Amaran. The movie was based on the life of martyred soldier Major Mukund Varadarajan and the challenges he faced over his years in service.
