Bollywood’s most celebrated voice, Arijit Singh, is back in headlines, this time not just for his music but for an unexpected shutdown at his London concert.

The singer, who recently overtook Taylor Swift as the most-followed artist on Spotify, left fans spellbound when he sang a soulful reprised version of Saiyaara, a track originally sung by Faheem Abdullah.

But just as the crowd swayed and sang along, the night took an odd turn. Singh’s performance reportedly stretched past the venue’s strict 10:30 pm curfew. Within moments, the management cut the power. The now-viral clip shows Arijit still mid-performance as the lights dim and confused fans slowly make their way out.

An Instagram handle, shared the video with the caption: “London stadium allegedly cut power at Arijit Singh’s show without letting him say goodbye or finish the song due to the 10:30 PM curfew.” And yes, the internet had thoughts.

While many were furious that the show ended so abruptly, others stood by the venue’s rules. One fan wrote, “Rules are rules. I wish this happened in India too.” Another added, “Noise pollution is taken seriously in the UK. Arijit arriving late contributed to the delay.”

Despite the chaos, Singh’s rendition of Saiyaara has taken over social media, trending across Instagram reels and Twitter feeds alike. For fans, the sudden cut-off only added to the drama, cementing yet another unforgettable Arijit Singh concert moment.
