Winter calls for eating superfoods that keep you warm and nourished. One of the most popular sweet snacks in Northern India is Panjiri. It is highly enjoyed not just for its delicious taste but also because it is highly nutritious, giving you an energy boost in cold weather.

Now, a video on the internet by Jugraj Singh has gone viral, where a couple is seen making 20 kgs of Panjiri the old-fashioned Punjabi way. The man claims that it’s something no one would be able to make at home or buy from a shop. It has 20–25 types of dry fruits, uses multigrain atta, and is made in desi ghee.

In the video, the man is seen adding a whole container of desi ghee to a large pan. He shows how the dry fruits are cut properly and fried individually. They include almonds, cashews, coconut, fox nuts, and more. They are fried lightly to remove moisture and give them a crunch.
