Delhi is likely to witness a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain on Friday, according to the weather office.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.7 degrees Celsius, 1.9 degrees below normal, while the maximum is expected to settle around 33 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
At 8.30 am, the relative humidity stood at 87 per cent. According to IMD's 8.30 am observations, rainfall was recorded at several weather stations in the national capital in the past 24 hours. Safdarjung logged 7.6 mm, Palam 13.3 mm, Lodi Road 3.2 mm, Ridge 5.2 mm, while Aya Nagar did not record any rainfall.
Delhi's air quality index (AQI) stood at 67 at 8 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The AQI falls in the satisfactory category.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good", 51 to 100 "satisfactory", 101 to 200 "moderate", 201 to 300 "poor", 301 to 400 "very poor" and 401 to 500 "severe".
