After a successful run, Letters of Suresh will be returning to the stage this December, offering a poignant exploration of human connection through the art of letter-writing. Directed by Feroz Abbas Khan, the play follows four characters on their emotional journey to find meaningful relationships.
Actor Vir Hirani, who received widespread acclaim for his performance in the previous run, will reprise his role. Reflecting on casting Hirani, Feroz Abbas Khan shared his thoughts on the actor's impact and portrayal of the character and said, "“The play is a series of monologues about four people reaching out for connection, a beautiful epistolary journey where they communicate through letters, trying to forge a delicate bond. As I was reading the script, I knew Vir was the one. I called him, did his audition, and he was simply perfect.”
Feroz Abbas Khan’s decision to cast Vir Hirani in Letters of Suresh was driven by much more than just finding the right fit for the role. “Vir doesn’t just portray a role in Letters of Suresh—the story, in many ways, found him. He has the sensitivity and depth needed for this part, and his training at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, along with his talent and dedication, makes him truly exceptional. He is something special,” he said.
