    Sun Pharmaceutical Industries

    The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) conducted a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspection of the company’s Halol facility in Gujarat during June 2–13. At the conclusion of the inspection, the USFDA issued a Form 483 with eight observations.

    Additionally, the Board has appointed Kirti Ganorkar as the company’s Managing Director for a period of five years, effective September 1, 2025. Dilip Shanghvi will continue as the Executive Chairman of the company’s Board.

    Syngene International

    The USFDA conducted a Good Clinical Practices (GCP) compliance inspection of the company’s facility at Semicon Park, Bengaluru, during June 9–13. The inspection concluded with zero observations, and no Form 483 was issued. The inspection has been classified as No Action Indicated (NAI).

    Separately, the company received an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the USFDA for its manufacturing facilities at Biocon Park, SEZ, Bengaluru. The EIR concluded the inspectional outcome as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI). This routine current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) inspection was conducted during February 10–20, 2025.

    Natco Pharma

    The USFDA concluded its inspection of the company’s API manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, conducted during June 9–13, and issued a Form 483 with one observation. The company stated that the observation is procedural in nature and expressed confidence in addressing it comprehensively.

    Vedanta

    The company’s Board of Directors will meet on June 18 to consider the first interim dividend on equity shares, if any, for the financial year 2025–26.

    ITC

    The company has completed the acquisition of a 100% stake (1.87 crore shares) in Sresta Natural Bioproducts for a total consideration of Rs 400 crore.

    Eicher Motors

    Simon Warburton, Chief Programme Manager of the company, has decided to retire effective June 13.

    South Indian Bank

    Biju E Punnachalil, General Manager, Chief Risk Officer, and Key Managerial Personnel of the bank, has opted for voluntary retirement to pursue other opportunities. He will be retiring from the bank effective July 11.

    NTPC

    The Committee of Creditors has approved the resolution plan submitted by a consortium of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company and NTPC for Sinnar Thermal Power, which is undergoing corporate insolvency under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

    Additionally, the company announced the commercial operation of Unit 3 (660 MW) of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project, effective June 15. With this, NTPC’s total standalone commercial capacity becomes 60,266 MW, and the group capacity stands at 81,368 MW.

    Gujarat Themis Biosyn

    Tapas Guha Thakurata has resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of the company due to personal health reasons, effective June 30.

    The Board has approved the re-designation of Sachin D Patel from Non-Executive Non-Independent Director to Managing Director for a period of five years, effective July 1.

    Godrej Properties

    The Mumbai-based real estate developer will develop a premium residential project on a 14-acre land parcel in Hoskote, Bengaluru. The proposed development is expected to offer approximately 1.5 million square feet of saleable area, with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 1,500 crore.

    Nazara Technologies

    The Estate of Late Mr Rakesh Jhunjhunwala sold 14.23 lakh shares in Nazara at an average price of Rs 1,225.63 per share, and 13 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,225.19 per share, which is equivalent to a 3.1% stake worth Rs 333.8 crore.

    Scoda Tubes

    Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte sold 4.2 lakh shares of the steel tubes and pipes maker at an average price of Rs 181.42 per share.

    Shalby

    First Water Fund has acquired 7 lakh shares in the company at an average price of Rs 180 per share, from Haresh Tikamdas Kaswani.

    Khazanchi Jewellers

    Yuyu Family Private Trust has bought 1.25 lakh shares in the company at an average price of Rs 540 per share.

    Jubilant Pharmova

    Promoters – Jubilant Enpro sold 21.16 lakh shares in Jubilant Pharmova at an average price of Rs 1,060 per share, and Nikita Resources offloaded 19.62 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,060.37 per share, which is equivalent to a 2.56% stake worth Rs 432.4 crore.

    However, Kotak Funds – India Midcap Fund acquired 15.93 lakh shares in the company, and Kotak Mahindra MF acquired 16.93 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,060 per share.

    Block Deals

    Jubilant Foodworks

    Promoter Jubilant Consumer has sold 1.06 crore shares in Jubilant Foodworks (1.6% stake) at an average price of Rs 662 per share, which is valued at Rs 701.72 crore.

    Institutional investor buyers for the 1.06 crore shares include Kotak Mahindra MF, UTI MF, Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois, Societe Generale, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte, Mirae Asset MF, Invesco MF, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, HSBC MF, Grandeur Peak, Ghisallo Master Fund, AIMCO, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, Bandhan MF, BNP Paribas Financial Markets, and Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company.

    Jubilant Ingrevia

    Promoters Shyam Sunder Bhartia Family Trust, Nikita Resources, and Jubilant Enpro sold 98.65 lakh shares in the company (equivalent to a 6.19% stake) at an average price of Rs 676 per share, amounting to Rs 666.9 crore.

    These shares were bought by several institutional investors – Kotak Mahindra MF, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, HDFC MF, Bandhan MF, Axis MF, and Societe Generale.
