In response, nutritionist Rashi Chowdhary revealed three foods that help sneak in 60 to 80 grams of protein; the amount an Indian woman with an average weight of 55 to 60 kg needs.

She added, “Yes, macros will look different. Veg protein sources often come with more carbs (and sometimes fats) than non-veg for the same protein, so build your plate accordingly.” The nutritionist also specified that it may not be possible for many to jump to 2 g/kg, and hence a gut cleanse is first needed “to rebuild the gut lining, which eventually helps with protein tolerance.”
