Eva Longoria talks ‘Desperate Housewives,’ reveals co-stars she is still in touch with, leaves Teri Hatcher out

Eva Longoria, who played Gabrielle Solis on the iconic show ‘Desperate Housewives,’ revealed that she is still in touch with some of the residents on Wisteria Lane.

The ‘Brooklyn Nine Nine’ actress revealed that she is still in touch with Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp), Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo), Antonio Chavira (Gabrielle’s husband, Carlos Solis) and Jesse Metcalfe (Gabrielle’s former underage lover, John Rowland).

“I talk to Felicity all the time. I talk to Marcia a lot. But the one probably I talk to most is Ricardo, my husband. And Jesse,” Longoria told an entertainment publication.

Longoria was joined by Huffman, Cross and Teri Hatcher in the show as the leading women of the show but it seems that Eva is not in touch with Hatcher at all. There were reports that the on screen closeness of the four women hadn’t transferred to their off screen relationship.

Teri Hatcher once addressed the rumours of tension between the four co-stars in an email, “I will never disclose the true and complicated journey of us all, but I wish everyone on this show well. Marc created out of thin air a majestic street called Wisteria Lane with its picket fences, its flowers always in bloom … and four really complimentary characters: a selfish girl, a harried woman, a repressed control freak and a soul-searching, well-meaning fumbler. Those four characters and the actresses who played them seemed to meld together in a way that harkens the phrase ‘once in a lifetime.’”

The ABC drama celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Is a reunion on the horizon?

Eva Longoria looked back on the incredible run of the show and revealed that it “changed everything” for her, “It was a decade of my life and it was the No. 1 show in the world so I just remember the first time I went to London, I had never been to London before and there was a big crowd of people outside the hotel. And I was like, ‘Gosh, who’s here? Is Bono here? Somebody important must be here!’ And the driver was like, ‘… You…’ And I was like, ‘No, somebody like, big. Like a big deal!’”
