Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya and Made in Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala are getting married today, December 4 at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills.
The Annapurna Studios is owned by Naga Chaitanya’s superstar father Nagarjuna Akkineni.
On the eve of the wedding, Sobhita’s sister Dr Samanta Dhulipala took to her social media and congratulated her sister ahead of the big day.
Samanta shared a few pictures from Sobhita's Pelli Kuthuru ceremony and wrote that her akka is ‘most affectionate person ever.’
“Cheers to the most beautiful pelli kuthuru and the most affectionate person ever. Only love for you akka. #SoChay.," she wrote.
For her Pelli Kuthuru, Sobhita stuck to her roots and wore red saree with gold jewellery.
For the wedding, Sobhita is going to wear a Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari, which honours her cultural roots.
For another ritual, she will be seen in a white khadi saree from Andhra Pradesh's Ponduru.
Sobhita and Naga got engaged in August this year and it was his father Nagarjuna who shared the happy news with their fans.
“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! ️ 8.8.8. A beginning of infinite love️," Nagarjuna wrote.
This is Naga's second wedding, he was earlier married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple got divorced in 2021, a few days before their wedding anniversary.
Recently Naga also spoke about his wife-to-be with Sobhita and her family. “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family the past few months, watching the families interact has been a joy. I am really looking forward to and excited for the wedding day, going through all the rituals and watching the families come together," he said in an interview.
