Music’s most iconic producer and fashion trailblazer Pharrell Williams, has recently collaborated with the American luxury jewelry retailer, Tiffany and Co. Christened as 'Tiffany Titan', the latest collection released on Thursday, May 2. The ornate jewelry emulates Williams’ childhood community, "Atlantis", in Virginia Beach while also from the mythological, Poseidon’s trident.

“I’m very inspired by water, and the name of this collection, “Titan,” draws inspiration from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis,” said Williams.

The selection includes items made from either 18-karat yellow gold or titanium, offering options in both metal and diamond variations. (Photo: Tiffany and Co.) The Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director hinted at a collaboration with the LVMH acquired brand while attending KENZO’s fashion show in Paris to support his long time creative partner and friend, NIGO, who is the Artistic Director of the brand. Donning a natural diamond studded pair of sunglasses he said, “Tiffany and I are engaged,” while in Paris.

The bold, uniquely shaped chain links are to be interpreted as ones expression of power, energy and force. The jewelry is instilled with the greek gods distinctive silhouette, while also making it hip and featuring a signature spike motif (they almost resemble the microbots from the Disney action/comedy 'Big Hero 6').

“The detail in all of the jewelry pieces is very intentional, the use of black titanium … it’s a physical manifestation of beauty in Blackness,” Pharrell said. Additionally, certain diamonds in the collection feature reverse settings, lending a distinctive flair to the designs.
