JSW MG Motor India has increased the price of select variants of its popular electric vehicle (EV), the Windsor. The price hike is for battery-as-a-service (BaaS) and fixed battery variants.
The Windsor is among the leading electric cars in India at present, having garnered volumes of over 30,000 units since its introduction in September 2024.
Be it BaaS or fixed battery version, the Windsor is available in five variants -- Excite (38kWh), Exclusive (38kWh), Essence (38kWh), Exclusive Pro (52.9kWh) and Essence Pro (52.9kWh).
Excite (38kWh) - Rs 10 lakh + Rs 3.9/km
Exclusive (38kWh) - Rs 11.04 lakh + Rs 3.9/km (Rs 5,000 increase)
Essence (38kWh) - Rs 12.14 lakh + Rs 3.9/km (Rs 15,000 increase)
Exclusive Pro (52.9kWh) - Rs 12.25 lakh + Rs 4.5/km
Essence Pro (52.9kWh) - Rs 13.31 lakh + Rs 4.5/km (Rs 21,000 increase)

Excite (38kWh) - Rs 14 lakh
Exclusive (38kWh) - Rs 15.05 lakh
Essence (38kWh) - Rs 16.15 lakh
Exclusive Pro (52.9kWh) - Rs 17.25 lakh
Essence Pro (52.9kWh) - Rs 18.31 lakh (Rs 21,000 increase)
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, disc brakes on all four wheels and a 360-degree camera. The top-spec Essence Pro variant also offers Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with functions such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. The EV additionally features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
