The MG M9 will be assembled in India at the carmaker's Halol plant.
JSW MG Motor India today launched the MG M9 electric limousine at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 69.90 lakh. The MG M9 will be sold via the carmaker's luxury retail channel, MG Select, which will also offer the upcoming MG Cyberster electric roadster.
MG M9 Bookings & Customer Deliveries
The MG M9 can be booked for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh, while its customer deliveries will commence on August 10, 2025.
MG M9 Range & Battery Pack
Talking about specifications, the MG M9 employs a front-axle-mounted 245 PS/350 Nm motor that draws power from a 90 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery. The big battery pack can be charged from 0-100% in just 1 hour and 30 minutes when plugged into a 160 kW DC fast charger. A 30-80% charge can be achieved in 30 minutes. With a standard 11 kW AC charger, a complete charge takes approximately 10 hours.
The electric limousine has been introduced with a claimed range of 548 km (MIDC) on a single full charge.
MG M9 Features - Exteriors
Talking about the exteriors, the MG M9 is available in three exterior colour options -- Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black and Concrete Grey. The trapezoidal mesh grille is flanked by sleek LED headlamps. The connected LED DRLs accord a premium touch to the nose. The rear has waterfall-styled integrated LED taillamps. The vehicle drives on 19-inch alloy wheels, which are shod with self-sealing tyres. Also, heated ORVMs ensure clear visibility in different weather conditions.
MG M9 Features - Interiors
While the MG M9 looks rather minimalistic from the outside, its Cognac Brown-themed cabin is a luxurious space to be in, particularly the second row with its presidential seats.

The presidential seats get a 16-way adjustment function combined with eight massage settings, heating and ventilation. The dual sunroof gives the already big cabin an airy feel. The 64-colour ambient lighting is another premium addition. A 13-speaker sound system (including subwoofer and amplifier) makes the in-cabin experience quite pleasant, depending on your music choice, though!
Comfort is not exclusive to the second row. Even the front row is quite comfortable, having a 12-way adjustable driver seat with memory function and an eight-way power-adjustable passenger seat, both equipped with integrated first-in-segment massage functionality.
However, the MG M9 will mostly be a chauffeur-driven car. It gets a 12.3-inch touch infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a digital display IRVM. A three-zone climate control adds extra comfort.
MG M9 Safety
With seven airbags as standard, the MG M9 has secured a five-star safety rating at Euro NCAP and ANCAP. Its frame uses high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel. Also available is Level 2 ADAS. Like all other MG cars, the M9 is also a connected model.
MG Select
JSW MG is aiming to expand MG Select in a phased manner. The first phase will have 14 dealerships across 13 cities.
