Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC Last Date

The Maharashtra Government has issued a final reminder for all beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. To continue receiving the monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,500, all eligible women must complete their mandatory e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process. The official deadline to complete this verification is Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

This e-KYC drive is a crucial step by the state administration to authenticate genuine beneficiaries and ensure the scheme's benefits reach the intended women. The move comes after government data revealed that approximately 26.34 lakh ineligible applicants, including men, had incorrectly registered and were availing the scheme's funds. Completing the e-KYC is now essential to weed out fraudulent claims and safeguard the financial aid for deserving candidates.

Aditi Tatkare, Maharashtra's Women and Child Development Minister, recently emphasized the importance of this process on social media, stating, “E-KYC.. सहज, सोपी व लाडक्या बहिणींच्या हिताची प्रक्रिया !” (E-KYC is a simple, easy, and beneficial process for our dear sisters). She urged all beneficiary sisters to complete the e-KYC process at the earliest for the smooth continuation of the scheme.

The original deadline was set for late September 2025, giving beneficiaries a two-month window. However, recognizing the difficulties posed by the state's flood emergency, the government granted a 15-day extension in October. November 18, 2025, is now the absolute last date to complete the verification. Beneficiaries who fail to meet this deadline risk having their monthly allowance suspended.
