Priyanka Chopra is back in Indian movies, and her return is big news. The actor, who is in SS Rajamouli's highly anticipated movie Varanasi, recently went to the amazing title and teaser launch event in Hyderabad. Now, she has posted a special behind-the-scenes video that shows the night from her point of view.

Priyanka Chopra posted a montage on Instagram on Monday that showed real-life moments from her preparations for the event. The video starts with her practicing her Telugu speech, writing down her lines while wearing a mask, and working with her team. Priyanka admits with a nervous laugh that speaking Telugu in front of a live audience is "much harder than doing it for a movie."

The video goes on to show her and SS Rajamouli practicing her lines and how to get on stage. In another funny scene, she is seen talking and laughing with Mahesh Babu backstage.

"I'm so happy to be back in India making this movie," she says as she gets ready to go on stage. Priyanka greets Namrata Shirodkar and Sitara warmly after giving her speech. Then she sits down to watch the teaser. She wrote "Varanasi launch from my eyes" as the title of the post.

Priyanka Talks About Prithviraj, Mahesh Babu, and Rajamouli

Priyanka Chopra praised her co-stars a lot during the event. She said that Prithviraj Sukumaran looks scary as a bad guy in the movie, but that he is "the sweetest person in real life." She also thanked Mahesh Babu and his family for making Hyderabad feel like home and praised SS Rajamouli as the visionary who brought Indian cinema to the world stage. Priyanka turned heads in a beautiful white lehenga choli that made her look like a princess.

What Varanasi Is

Mahesh Babu plays Rudhra, Priyanka Chopra plays Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Kumbha, the bad guy. In the teaser, Mahesh plays a fierce, larger-than-life character who rides a bull through the old streets of Varanasi while holding a trishul. The teaser doesn't give away much about the plot, but fans think the movie might have some time travel in it.

Rajamouli has said that Mahesh Babu will also play Lord Rama in a special scene that is said to have taken 60 days to film. Before the big event, the director showed off Priyanka's look as Mandakini on Instagram. The poster shows the actress in a yellow saree, in the middle of an action scene with a gun in her hand. Fans were instantly drawn to this image. Rajamouli wrote, "The woman who changed Indian cinema on the world stage" to welcome Priyanka back. Desi Girl, welcome back! I can't wait for the world to see all the different colors of Mandakini.

Varanasi is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, especially since Priyanka Chopra is returning to Indian films.
