Nidhhi Agerwal’s new disturbing video showing her being pushed and surrounded by a massive crowd at a public event has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and renewed debate around public behaviour and celebrity safety. The visuals, widely circulated on Instagram and X, show the actress struggling to move as fans press in from all sides, with netizens reacting sharply and commenting, “civic sense kissike pass nahi hai aajkal.”
The incident took place at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad during the promotional event for the upcoming Telugu film The Raja Saab. Nidhhi Agerwal had arrived at the mall for the launch of the film’s song “Sahana Sahana,” but the gathering quickly spiralled out of control. Multiple videos from the venue show an overwhelming crowd rushing toward the actress, attempting to take selfies, grabbing her hands, and repeatedly invading her personal space.
As the situation worsened, Nidhhi appeared visibly distressed while trying to make her way through the packed area. Members of her team and security personnel were seen forming a human barrier around her in an attempt to escort her safely to her car. Despite their efforts, the sheer number of people made crowd control nearly impossible, leading to several tense moments caught on camera.
Following the backlash, the Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) police took suo motu action and booked both the Lulu Mall management and the event organisers. KPHB Inspector S. Rajashekar Reddy confirmed that the organisers had failed to obtain prior police permission for the event. “A case has been filed against the mall management and the event organisers for holding the programme without permission,” he said, adding that further investigation is underway to examine lapses in security planning and crowd management.
According to police sources, the song launch was scheduled to begin at 5 pm but was delayed, during which time a large crowd had already assembled inside the mall. Officials stated that inviting a high-profile celebrity without adequate safety measures and approvals violated standard protocols, significantly increasing the risk factor.

Apart from Nidhhi Agerwal, the event was also attended by actors Prabhas and Riddhi Kumar, director Maruthi, producer TG Vishwa Prasad, and music director Thaman. However, it was Nidhhi who bore the brunt of the chaos.
So far, the actress has not issued an official statement on the incident. The episode has once again highlighted serious concerns around crowd behaviour, lack of civic sense, and the urgent need for stricter enforcement of security norms at public celebrity events to prevent such situations from repeating.
