BSE launches FASTRADE™ - a new market access platform
The BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) has announced the launch of its new market access platform – FASTRADE™.
It is a terminal and Internet based market access solution developed by Marketplace Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. It will open a gateway for market participants to access BSE Derivaties along with other market segments. It is highly customisable allowing the user to define his own keyboard shortcuts making it extremely user friendly.
The current market access solution - BOLT (BSE Online Trading) provided by BSE will continue to function on as is basis. FASTRADE™ is being offered in
addition to BOLT. BOLT will continue to be supported by BSE.
FASTRADE™ - is being provided ‘Free’ for BSE members for trading on BSE cash and derivatives segment. The software will also be provided free for internet based trading on BSE.

Terminals : Available in Thick client/Dealer Terminal, Internet Based exe and Internet Based Browser versions
Connectivity: Works with any type of connections including Dialup, Broadband, Internet, VPN, LAN, WAN and Leased Lines
Personalization: High level of Customization is possible, Key board functions can be personalized by end user and 'n' tiered hierarchy can be created
Integration: Facilitates Integration with most back-office software
System Requirements : Server with 4GB RAM, Dual/Quad Core Processor 3.1 Ghz, Windows 2003 Server edition, Apache Tomcat 5.0, JDK 1.4, MS SQL 2005 Standard Edition
In addition, SPARK™: Derivatives Back Office software from Marketplace Technologies - will also be provided ‘Free’ to BSE members for use in BSE Derivative segment.
