Promoter Jusmiral Holdings has offloaded 8.9 percent stake in Cohance Lifesciences, the Hyderabad-based contract development and manufacturing organisation, for Rs 3,094 crore via open market transactions on September 18.
Cohance Lifesciences shares corrected 5.55 percent to close at Rs 912.7 on the NSE after gap-down opening.
Jusmiral Holdings sold 3.41 lakh shares (equivalent to 8.9 percent stake) in Cohance at Rs 906 per share, valued at Rs 3,093.8 crore. Promoters' shareholding in the company was 66.41 percent as of June 2025.
On other side, HDFC Mutual Fund, and SBI Mutual Fund acquired some of those Cohance shares, buying 37.17 lakh shares (0.97 percent stake) at Rs 906 per share, amounting to Rs 336.8 crore, and 26.83 lakh shares (0.7 percent) at Rs 905.71 per share for Rs 243 crore, respectively.
Awfis Space Solutions was also in action on Thursday, falling 1 percent to Rs 584.35. HDFC Mutual Fund acquired 5 lakh shares (0.7 percent) in the flexible workspace solutions provider at Rs 580.01 per share for Rs 29 crore. However, Vbap Holdings sold 8 lakh shares (1.12 percent) at Rs 578.9 per share for Rs 46.3 crore.
HDFC Mutual Fund held 5.5 percent stake in the company, while the shareholding of Vbap Holdings was 5.92 percent as of June 2025.
The major activity was also seen in De Neers Tools, the hand tools manufacturer, which corrected 1.63 percent to Rs 212.45, extending downtrend for fourth consecutive session.
Promoters and other shareholders offloaded 4.92 percent stake (4.23 lakh shares) in total in De Neers Tools on Thursday for Rs 8.88 crore.
Promoters Manoj Gupta sold 55,800 shares in the company at Rs 210.78 per share, and Anju Gupta 1.32 lakh shares at Rs 205.47 per share.
Among others, Patel Anand Rajeshbhai offloaded 52,800 shares at Rs 216.48 per share, and Prudent Equity 71,400 shares at Rs 208.64 per share, while Manpreet Singh Lamba sold 45,000 shares at Rs 210.54 per share, and 66,600 shares at Rs 211.96 per share.
MIC Electronics shares saw lot of volatility during the day before ending at Rs 67.96, up 0.31 percent. Promoter entity RRK Enterprise sold 20 lakh shares at Rs 68 per share in the company.
Meanwhile, there was small block deal in GE Vernova T&D India, the engineering services company. BNP Paribas Financial Markets acquired 76,468 shares (0.02 percent stake) at Rs 2,992.7 per share in the company for Rs 22.88 crore from Marshall Wace Investment Strategies Market Neutral Tops Fund.
