Stocks to WatchCeigall IndiaThe company's subsidiary, Ceigall Ludhiana Bathinda Greenfield Highway, has received the ‘appointed date’ from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a project worth Rs 981 crore. The project involves the development of a 6-lane access-controlled Ludhiana–Bathinda Greenfield highway section in Punjab on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase-I (Package 2).
Additionally, Ceigall India (CIL) has announced that its joint venture with JSP Projects (CIL holding 80% and JSPPPL 20%) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for an infrastructure development project worth Rs 509.20 crore. The project is to be executed within 24 months under an item-rate contract.
The company has signed a new Long-Term Contract & Price Agreement (LTCPA) with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan, valued at Rs 651 crore, for the supply of highly engineered and complex rotating and stationary airfoils for advanced gas and thermal power turbine engines to meet their global demand in the power generation industry.
PG ElectroplastThe company, through its subsidiary PG Technoplast, has acquired a 50-acre land parcel in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. It plans to invest around Rs 1,000 crore in developing a manufacturing campus over the next five years.
Alkem LaboratoriesThe pharma company has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement with Alkem Wellness, effective October 1. It will transfer the trade generics business as a going concern, on a slump sale basis, to its subsidiary, Alkem Wellness.
Shriram FinanceThe company has made a further investment of Rs 300 crore in its subsidiary, Shriram Overseas, by subscribing to 1,90,25,000 equity shares through a rights issue, with the objective of strengthening its capital base.
Lemon Tree HotelsShareholders have appointed Neelendra Singh as Managing Director of the company, and Kapil Sharma as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, for a term of five years effective October 1 this year. They also appointed Patanjali Govind Keswani as Executive Director and Chairman for 18 months, effective October 1.

Tata MotorsPB Balaji has resigned as Group Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective November 17 this year, and will join as Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Plc, UK, on the same date.
Further, the Board has appointed Dhiman Gupta as the Chief Financial Officer of the company effective the same date, and Shailesh Chandra as an Additional Director, Managing Director & CEO of the company, effective October 1, for a period of three years. Shailesh Chandra will continue to be the Managing Director of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility.

Under this arrangement, Vascon will be associated with Adani on selected earmarked projects right from the design stage, thereby ensuring seamless integration of design and execution. At present, three projects totaling approximately 13.15 million square feet have already been identified under this model in Mumbai.

However, Multiples Private Equity Gift Fund IV and Samvibhag Securities acquired 82.2 lakh shares (5.85% stake) in VIP Industries at Rs 388 per share for Rs 319.07 crore.
