Upasana Konidela’s makeup artist has alleged that Shah Rukh Khan disrespected Ram Charan while calling him on the stage at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. Zeba Hassan said she walked out of the event after that and slammed Khan for being disrespectful to a star like Ram Charan. According to Hassan, Khan called Ram Charan ‘idli vada’.

Shah Rukh Khan was present in Jamnagar for the 3-day gala thrown by the Ambanis. His performance with Aamir Khan and Salman Khan on day 2 sent social media into a tizzy. The trio, while dancing to “Naatu Naatu”, wanted to invite Ram Charan on stage to groove with them. However, Hassan alleged that Khan addressed the Telugu actor as ‘idli vada’ and even shared a video to support her claim.

Taking to her Instagram story, the makeup artist wrote, “I walked out after this. So disrespectful towards a star like @alwaysramcharan.”

Zeba Hassan claimed that Shah Rukh Khan disrespected Ram Charan.

The allegation obviously triggered several responses on social media. While some people came out in support of Shah Rukh Khan adding that his remarks were from his movie “One 2 Ka 4”, others criticised his behaviour.

“Shah Rukh Khan being casually racist to Ram Charan who is South Indian by calling him idli. I wonder if his so called well educated and sophisticated fanbase will condemn it,” one user wrote.

Another user commented, “Shah Rukh Khan called Ram Charan idli. Shall I call him pani puri?”

“She feels bad for Ram Charan when Ram Charan himself loves and respects Shah Rukh Khan,” a third user remarked.

Some people even pointed out that Khan bowed down for Ram Charan when he came up on stage.
