Bollywood actress Kajol and her sister Tanishaa Mukerji shared a heartfelt post on social media for her mother Tanuja's 81st birthday.
The veteran actor turned 81 on September 23, and her daughters made sure to make the occasion extra special by posting a joint birthday message, celebrating their mother’s timeless beauty and spirit. Despite turning 81, the sisters fondly remarked that Tanuja will always be "18 forever" in their eyes.
The post included a recent picture of Tanuja with Kajol and Tanishaa, all three donned in traditional Indian attire. The sweet caption read, "If birthdays were flowers, we would have flooded the table... happy happy 81st aka 18 to our evergreen, crazy, beautiful Goddess! Love you to the moon and back momma," with a series of pink heart emojis.
They also added hashtags like "happy birthday mom" and "eighteen forever" to emphasize their love and admiration for their mother.
Additionally, the birthday post featured a black-and-white throwback photo of Tanuja from her early days as an actress, displayed on her beautiful birthday cake, along with the message “gorgeous as ever.”

In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Daughter’s Day to all these gorgeous girls... we don’t need a day to celebrate that we are daughters, but it sure feels good... and all we need is a chance to eat cake anyways."
