Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, who made headlines for the Kannada language controversy, recently escaped a car accident. The actor recently enjoyed an outing with his friends in Mumbai when a car almost hit him.
A video is going viral on social media which shows the singer almost getting hit by a car, The singer enjoyed the outing with his friends at a Mumbai restaurant. He flashed a bright smile and posed for the cameras as he arrived at the venue to meet his friends.
The singer makes his way out of the car with his bodyguard and started walking ahead when a car suddenly accelerated towards him, despite him being directly in its path. The vehicle struck Sonu, but he swiftly dodged out of the way, and his bodyguard rushed to his side to assist him.
Sonu Nigam looked visibly shocked as he narrowly escaped the accident and avoided serious injuries. He then moved ahead and hugged his friends. However, he was asked by his friends if he was okay, to which he responded, “I’m good.”
Sonu Nigam looked dapper in an all-black outfit. He sported a black shirt and paired it with matching pants.
Meanwhile, the singer recently sparked controversy over his language remark during his April 25 concert held at East Point College of Engineering in Avalahalli.
A video from the concert has gone viral on social media in which the singer can be seen refusing to perform a Kannada song upon a fan’s request and referencing the Pahalgam terror attack during his response. Several FIRs have been filed against him, and faced backlash from the Kannada film industry. However, Sonu Nigam later issued a public apology.
