Karthi starrer action thriller Sardar brought a storm all over the internet when it was released in the theatres in 2022. The film received critical acclaim and was a huge hit at the box office. The film notably became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2022.
However, the film’s popularity led to the announcement of a sequel, and the makers have recently created a buzz with the release of Sardar 2 Hindi prologue.
The prologue features some intense sword-fighting scenes between Karthi and his foes inside the building. A man hidden in the shadows is seen decimating a group of swordsmen with his katana. The prologue later gave a glimpse of the intense look of Sardar aka Karthi.
Before dying, the boss of the group tells Sardar that his country is facing a big threat from an enemy called the Black Dagger, played by SJ Suryah. The prologue concluded with the promise of a thrilling showdown between Karthi and SJ Suryah.

Sardar 2 features an ensemble cast including SJ Suryah, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Yogi Babu, and Rajisha Vijayan, among others. Sardar 2 will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on May 30, 2025.
