Jenna Ortega starrer Wednesday Season 2 and Part 2 is around the corner, and Netflix has just created excitement among the fans. Several reports have suggested that Lady Gaga will be starring in the sequel to the modern gothic series, with the fans eagerly awaiting her appearance.
Netflix has just dropped Lady Gaga’s Wednesday first look, doubling the excitement among the fans. The songstress will portray the role of Rosaline Rotwood, a teacher joining the Nevermore Academy, in the series. Further details of her role are currently kept under wraps.
The social media handle of the streaming giant shared the first look with the caption, “A vision in venom. Here’s your first look at Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood.”
In the first look, Lady Gaga sported an ethereal white gown, long blonde hair, and eyebrows with a disembodied hand, Thing, who is a relative of Wednesday, is seen resting over the shoulder of singer and actress.
Netflix has previously described Rosaline as “mysterious and enigmatic, legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”
However, the premiere of the second part will now reveal whether Lady Gaga’s character is a quiet new figure or someone from the school’s past.
Lady Gaga previously announced that her much-anticipated new single, The Dead Dance, would be available on September 3, the same day that Part 2 of Netflix's Wednesday Season 2 premieres.
The announcement was made on August 28 at the Graveyard Gala event, which was supported by Spotify and Netflix, at Guastavino's in New York City.
Netflix announced the exciting news through social media, with the caption, “You heard it from Mother Monster. Lady Gaga’s new song The Dead Dance will be out on September 3 and in Wednesday Part II.”
