Singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has recently sent the Swifties into a frenzy with the release of her highly anticipated album, The Life of a Showgirl. The singer has again created a buzz among the fans with the latest announcement.
Taylor revealed on Saturday that she has re-recorded eight tracks from ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ in acoustic versions with her co-producers Max Martin and Shellback. The new tracks will appear on four limited-edition CDs she has just put on sale in her webstore.
Announcing the additional track, Taylor wrote in the caption, “File this under “save your best for the finale”… I think my favorite moments from the tour were the acoustic surprises.”
She continued, “Dressing Room Rehearsal Version with “Wi$h Li$t (Settled Down Acoustic Version)” and “The Life of a Showgirl (Dressing Room Rehearsal Acoustic Version)” Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version with “The Fate of Ophelia (Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version)” and “Eldest Daughter (Now You’re Home Acoustic Version).””
The singer concluded, “So Glamorous Cabaret Version with “Elizabeth Taylor (So Glamorous Cabaret Version)” and Elizabeth Taylor (Original Songwriting Voice Memo)

The four CDs include two acoustic bonus tracks each, as well as new cover art, some of which fans will recognise as from the filming of the new music video for "The Fate of Ophelia," which was released on YouTube as of Sunday night and in theatres this weekend.
The four CD editions were announced as being on her site “for 24 hours or while supplies last” and are priced at $7.99 each.
