Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting married today (December 4) in Hyderabad in a traditional Telugu ceremony.
For the wedding ceremony, which is already underway at the Annapurna studios, owned by the Akkineni family, groom Naga Chaitanya is going to wear a traditional attire called pancha. It is Naga's tribute to his grandfather and veteran actor ANR aka Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Pancha is a reflection of ANR's style.
The bride is also sticking to the traditional wear and not opting for any designer lehenga. Sobhita is actually wearing a Kanjivaram silk saree which will have real gold zari and it honours her cultural roots.
Sobhita will also change to a white khadi saree from Andhra Pradesh's Ponduru region.
The wedding is going to be a star studded affair and many celebs from the Telugu film industry are going to attend it.
Baahubali duo - actor Prabhas and director SS Rajamouli are going to be a part of the guest list. Pushpa actor Allu Arjun with his family, Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela, Mahesh Babu-Namrata Shirodkar and Chiranjeevi will be seen at the wedding.
Their pre wedding ceremonies started with the Mangalasnaanam followed by the Pelli Kuthuru of Sobhita. The bride-to-be shared many pictures from both the ceremonies.
Sobhita has chosen to stay close to her roots and is only wearing sarees which reflect her culture.
Sobhita and Naga have been dating since 2022 and they only made their relationship public in August this year when their engagement was announced by Nagarjuna.
