aespa recently made an appearance on the Japanese show The Weekly 99 Music, where NingNing’s reaction to male idol members caught the internet’s attention.

During the final moments of the show, all the idols had some time in front of the camera. Some male idols took the opportunity to showcase their personalities. As they approached the crowd of artists, NingNing was seen backing away and moving closer to her bandmate Giselle.

Netizens quickly identified the male idols as members of BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE. When the clip of NingNing’s reaction was posted online, it garnered over 3 million views in under 24 hours, with many finding her reaction amusing.

Fans noted that the stage was quite cramped, suggesting that NingNing’s actions were likely an attempt to avoid physical contact in a crowded space. Japanese fans also sympathised with her, commenting on the situation.

One fan tweeted, "Japanese men have a strange sense of distance, poor NingNing," while another added, "Don’t approach the foolish man NingNing."

Others praised NingNing for her response, recognising the challenges female idols face when interacting with male idols in such close quarters. Considering the assumptions and rumours that often arise from such interactions, NingNing’s reaction is understandable.

On June 29 and 30, aespa launched their highly anticipated SYNK: PARALLEL LINE live tour with two spectacular concerts at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. This tour, which will run until late September, is set to take aespa across various Asian countries including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and more, as well as Australia. The initial concerts demonstrated the group's immense talent and stage presence, delighting many of the fans who attended.

The SYNK: PARALLEL LINE tour began with a high-energy performance that showcased aespa's musical prowess and captivating choreography. Fans who attended the concerts in Seoul were thrilled to see the group live, and the atmosphere was electric.
