The group revealed the news of their disbandment on the 4th of August, but announced that they were going to provide fans with a memento goodbye present, an English album release in late August, followed by Japanese activities, a North American tour, and a farewell concert in Korea.
The new album OUR NOW will be Purple Kiss’ debut English album and will come out on August 31.
After the drop of OUR NOW, PURPLE KISS will start their last North America tour, the dates and cities for which are still to be announced. They will bid adieu with a special concert in Korea.
Announcing the disbandment, Purple Kiss’ agency RBW expressed its deep regret over the end of the legacy. They also expressed gratitude to fans for their unwavering support.
The statement of the agency reads, “Because of the members’ deep affection for the group, we engaged in long and thoughtful discussions about how to move forward. As a result, we reached a conclusion based on mutual respect and support for each member’s individual dreams.”
