ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo assigned dishwashing duty during his military enlistment

K-pop boyband ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo has recently started his military service, and a latest report has revealed the community service he has been doing.

According to AllKpop, a social media post titled, ‘Cha Eun Woo’s Military Update from a Social Media Comment’, has been swirling around social media.

The post revealed that Cha Eun has been assigned to dishwashing duty.

The post further suggested that everyone kept bringing their dishes to the singer just to catch a glimpse of his face.

The post reads, “My superior’s son is in the same training batch as Cha Eun Woo. That week, he was assigned to dishwashing duty, and everyone kept bringing their dishes to him just to catch a glimpse of his face.”

However, this is not the first time that an update from the training centre has resurfaced on social media. Previously, a fan shared, “I’m working as a cook, and I saw Cha Eun Woo doing the dishes. He was really focused on the task. Even with a shaved head, he looked so handsome that I couldn’t help but avoid eye contact.”

Another post revealed that when fellow trainees continued staring at the singer, an instructor stepped in and said, “Don’t stare. He’s a person, too.”

For the unversed, Cha Eun Woo enlisted at the Army Training Centre in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, on July 28. Soon after he completes his basic military training, Cha Eun will serve in the Army’s military band. The singer will discharge from his mandatory services on January 27, 2027.
