BTS' Jin is officially embarking on his solo journey with the launch of his first world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. However, the excitement surrounding the announcement quickly turned into frustration for fans as ticketing queues ballooned into the tens of thousands. Jin directly addressed the issue and took responsibility.

The solo tour, which begins with two shows in Goyang, South Korea, on June 28 and 29, marks Jin’s first live performances since his return from military service.

But just days after the reveal, fans were already struggling to secure tickets. On Weverse, where fans often share live updates and interact with BTS members, Jin stepped in to respond to the growing concerns.

A fan shared a screenshot of themselves behind more than 53,000 people in the queue, questioning whether they should abandon their efforts.

Another commented that Jin should aim for larger venues next time. In response, Jin admitted, “It’s my fault for not planning it. Truthfully, it was booked on a whim/suddenly so no concert locations were left. These got barely booked.”

He added with humility and humour, “I didn’t know Seokjini was this popular.” To another fan who said they were stuck at position 20,429, Jin again took accountability, saying, “It’s my fault, I didn’t have any plans.”

Jin also confirmed that there would be no encore concerts, saying, “There isn’t an encore, I’m sorry.” His candid replies quickly trended among fans, with many praising his honesty and openness during what is typically a highly commercial and tightly controlled process.

The RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR will span nine cities, including Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam, with two shows in each city. The tour is expected to run through August 10, 2025, shortly after the release of his solo album ECHO.
