The singer's frustration was palpable as he revisited his past comments, notably the famous line, "Salman duaon pe chalta hai" (Salman's career is due to blessings). When asked about his support for Khan during his hit-and-run case, Abhijeet responded with irritation, "Maine kaha ye jo hota hai...road par soyenge to ek daarubaaz aayega daaru pike gaadi chadha dega tumhare upar. Road par kutte ki tarah so rahe ho. To ek daarubaaz aayega, ek tharki, ab kyu merese wo repeat karwa rahe ho...”

This derogatory statement, implying that Salman Khan is a "daarubaaz" (drunkard) and "tharki" (pervert), has reignited past tensions and added fuel to the fire of an ongoing feud. Abhijeet's harsh words have not only drawn criticism but have also prompted fans to question his motives and relevance in today's entertainment landscape.

The backlash continued with someone quipping, "Who is this idiot who pops up from time to time like a frog in a cesspool?" and another expressing, "He’s trying so hard to get in good books of Shah Rukh Khan and his fans lmao."
