Dude OTT Release Update: Know when and where to watch the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer comedy drama online

The streaming giant made the official announcement on Instagram, sharing a poster of the film featuring Pradeep and revealing that Dude will start streaming from November 14.

Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju’s Tamil romantic comedy Dude, which hit theatres on October 17, 2025, during the Diwali weekend, is all set to stream on Netflix soon.

The streaming giant made the official announcement on Instagram, sharing a poster of the film featuring Pradeep and revealing that Dude will start streaming from November 14.

The post was captioned, “One DUDE, one thousand problems, no solutions. Watch Dude on Netflix, out 14 November in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.”

Written and directed by Keerthiswaran, Dude is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and features an ensemble cast that includes Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, R. Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, Aishwarya Sharma, and Neha Shetty.

The film opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audiences, who praised the first half for its humor, visuals, performances—particularly by Pradeep, Mamitha, and Sarathkumar—and Sai Abhayankar’s engaging music.

The narrative centres on cousins Agan and Kural, who are close friends and operate Surprise Dude, an event planning company that plans milestone events like anniversaries, weddings, and proposals.

But when Kural admits her love for Agan, their relationship takes a surprising turn. Agan, who is shocked by the disclosure, declines her proposal, stating that he only views her as a close friend and member of his family. However, after some time apart, he starts to see how he really feels and decides to show her how much he loves her.

In its review, Moneycontrol wrote, “The segment before the interval does a great job of getting people ready for what's coming next. The plot gets better with Sarath Kumar’s character. His performance in the first half adds energy and humor, keeping the movie lively. Among the supporting cast, Sarath Kumar stands out with his impeccable comic timing and screen presence.”

Directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Dude may have received mixed reactions, but its blend of romance, humor, and heartfelt moments has earned it a growing fan base as it heads to Netflix for its digital release.
