Paris Olympics 2024, India's schedule on Day 6: India's outing on Day 5 of the Paris Olympics was quite a remarkable one, starting with badminton. PV Sindhu crushed her opponent from Estonia, but it Lakshya Sen, who grabbed most spotlight in badminton. The 22-year-old shuttler came over a big hurdle in Jonatan Christie, defeating him in straight games and advancing to the round-of-16. Apart from him, one of India's most reputed archer Deepika Kumari also had a good outing, winning both her elimination matches. On Day 6, Kusale will once again lead the headlines as he will look to increase India's medal tally. He takes part in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions final, which is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm IST. Meanwhile, Sift Kaur Samra and Anjum Moudgil will also be in action in the women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions qualification.

The Indian hockey team will look to continue the winning momentum against a tough Belgian side in a Pool B encounter. However, it can be deemed as a dead rubber as India have already qualified for the quarterfinals. India started their campaign with a 3-2 win against New Zealand but were held 1-1 by Argentina in their next encounter. India, however, returned to winning ways and defeated Ireland 2-0, displaying more intensity throughout the 60 minutes.

One of India's top medal contender Nikhat Zareen will be in action in the women's 50kg round of 16 bout against China's Yu Wu, which is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
