Farah Khan slams paparazzi during Satish Shah’s funeral for recording her, ‘bas yehi karo tum..’

Veteran actor Satish Shah was laid to rest in Mumbai on Sunday, with numerous celebrities and colleagues paying their final respects. Among those present, Farah Khan was seen confronting paparazzi for intruding on private moments.

Veteran actor Satish Shah’s funeral was held on Sunday afternoon in Mumbai. Several popular names attended the funeral to pay their last respects.

Among the numerous celebrities was filmmaker Farah Khan, who called out paparazzi. A video from the location is going viral on social media.

The video shows Farah expressing her disappointment at the intrusion and looking angry at the paparazzi for recording private moments.

Family members, friends, and co-workers from the film and television industries came together to say their final goodbyes to the veteran actor at Satish Shah's funeral.

Farah was seen leaving the place after paying her respects and talking with Ashoke Pandit.

As she approached the exit, she noticed the paparazzi recording her and, in a low, sad tone, remarked, “Bas yahi karo tumlog... Poora time yehi karo (Keep doing this only... spend all your time doing just this),” before walking away.

Naseeruddin Shah and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, who costarred with Satish in Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, were among the industry veterans who attended the cremation in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon.

Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, Anang Desai, Paresh Ganatra, producer JD Majethia, writer-director Aatish Kapadia, and actor-director Deven Bhojani were among the other cast members from the popular show.

Along with members of the film industry such as Neil Nitin Mukesh, Dilip Joshi, Jackie Shroff, Ali Asgar, Tiku Talsania, Sudhir Pandey, Sharat Saxena, and Avatar Gil, close friends and coworkers Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak, Swaroop Sampat, Suresh Oberoi, and Poonam Dhillon paid their respects.

Satish Shah passed away on Saturday at the age of 74 following a kidney ailment. He is survived by his wife, Madhu Shah, a designer.

The veteran actor leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable performances across film and television. His co-stars and colleagues remembered him not just for his comic genius but also for his warmth, professionalism, and the laughter he brought to millions.
