The Amavasya Tithi begins on October 20 and on October 21, 2025. The Vrishabha Kaal is considered ideal for Lakshmi Ganesha Saraswati Puja, it will last from 06:30 PM to 08:28 PM. Devotees across India will perform Diwali Snan, Diwali Devpuja and observe various rituals to invite Goddess Lakshmi, the bringer of wealth and prosperity into their homes.

Best Time for Lakshmi Puja (Muhurat)

While Mahanishita Kaal is also mentioned in sacred texts, it is mainly reserved for Tantrik practitioners or learned priests. For householders, Pradosh Kaal remains the most favorable time.

Devotees are advised not to rely on Choghadiya Muhurat for Lakshmi Puja, as it is more suitable for travel rather than religious ceremonies. Instead, following Pradosh Kaal with Sthir Lagna ensures the most auspicious results.
