A YouTuber took to Instagram to share a video revealing her bad experience while using boAt products. Vaishnavi Shukla uploaded a clip in which she was seen ranting about the poor quality of several boAt products that she has used in the past. She also urged people to “boycott” Aman Gupta’s company. Her post grabbed a lot of attention and even got a reply from boAt.

“Do not buy any product from this brand until you watch this video,” Shukla said in the beginning of her video. She then went on to show the condition of the smart band, watch and earphones that she has been using and revealed how they have either broken or stopped working altogether.

boAt is a total scam,” Shukla said while claiming that she has used a lot of products such as speakers, watches and smart bands from the company. She also said that the boAt doesn’t take any responsibility for warranty and blames everything on physical damage.

She showed a watch by the brand with a broken strap and claimed that it only happened in a month’s time. “Boycott boat products until and unless they start acknowledging our reviews and promise to make a change regarding the same!” Shukla wrote in the caption.

Since being shared online, the clip has amassed over three lakh views. Social media users flocked to the comments section with their thoughts.

“This is a very old tactic! They never provide you with proper warranty coverage! Also, they try to fool you or make it look as it was your mistake! However, the quality sucks and audio quality is not on the point or worth the money!” one user wrote.

Another user commented, “Boat's quality is so bad.”

“This is absolutely terrible! I can't believe it! I bought three speakers this year, and guess what? All of them have issues! None of them are working properly. This company is producing such low-quality products. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from them!” a third user remarked.

A section of people also came out in support of the company. “Boat will always help their customer & they will definitely help you to fix this issue. Let's not boycott them for this,” a user added.

“Been using Boat for a year. Had an issue with my Storm Call 2 watch, but they replaced it under warranty. Happy customer here!” another user chimed in.

As the video garnered traction, boAt also responded to it and wrote, “Hi Vaishnavi, we're eager to make things right and give you the amazing boAthead experience you deserve. We have asked for your contact details via DM. We request you to share the same so that we can get this closed on priority. We truly appreciate your support and we hope to keep you as a happy boAthead for years to come!”
