Eternal CEO Deepinder Goyal has sparked a wave of speculation after claiming his longevity venture, Continue, may have uncovered a breakthrough in slowing human aging. In a cryptic Instagram post on Thursday, Goyal drew parallels between historic misconceptions -- such as believing the Earth was flat -- to suggest humanity might be overlooking a fundamental truth about aging.

“We’ve built rockets, sequenced genomes, and cloned cells. But in all our brilliance, we may have missed something glaringly simple,” Goyal wrote, adding that his team’s two-year research points to “one element of our environment” as a potential key to extending lifespan. He promised to reveal details within 48 hours, on November 15.

Continue, incubated by Goyal in 2024, is backed by a personal corpus of $25 million (about Rs 221 crore) to fund research into human biology and aging. The venture aims to push lifespans “for the general population up to 180+ for real change to happen,” Goyal said in an earlier post on X. He described the hypothesis as a “penny-drop insight” that could fundamentally alter our understanding of biology.

The platform is expected to evolve into a comprehensive health and wellness ecosystem, integrating nutrition tracking, sleep monitoring, mental health support, and preventive care. Sources familiar with the project told Moneycontrolthat Continue has already onboarded a sleep scientist and could eventually rival advanced health trackers.

Goyal’s interest in longevity aligns with his early investment in Ultrahuman, a wearable tech startup focused on fitness and metabolic health.
