After enduring scorching heat, Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) finally experienced a much-needed respite as heavy rainfall swept through the area. While the downpour provided relief from the oppressive temperatures, it also led to significant waterlogging across various parts of the city. This duality of relief and frustration was vividly captured and shared by residents on X.
Visuals and videos of the rain and its aftermath quickly flooded X, with the hashtag #DelhiRains trending as people shared their experiences. A notable video shared by ANI showcased cars stranded on waterlogged streets, emphasising the extent of the issue. The outlet also shared several other clips of waterlogging in various parts of Delhi-NCR.
