It is safe to say that Shah Rukh Khan has amassed a gigantic fan base for himself and can be called a global star. His popularity knows no bounds and he has an army of die-hard fans. Well, one of the actor’s millions of fans documented his journey of meeting his idol on Instagram. Aakash Pillay shared day-to-day updates on the social media platform and was finally able to meet Khan on day 33.
Pillay, who started his journey on August 29, met the “Jawan” actor on September 30. He patiently waited for 33 days and did everything to meet the actor. From waiting outside his house “Mannat” in Mumbai to messaging almost everyone on the actor’s team, Pillay did it all.
He even got Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani’s number and requested her for a meetup. Pillay also celebrated his birthday outside “Mannat”. On day 19, he caught the attention of Shah Rukh Khan himself at a press meet held at Yash Raj Films studio for “Jawan”. A video shared by Pillay showed him entering the studio with a sign that read, “Day 19 of waiting for SRK!”
And finally, on Day 28, Pillay received a text from the actor’s team. He shared his excitement and happiness on Instagram with his followers who were quite engrossed in his journey.
“Agar kisi cheez ko poori shiddat se chaaho, toh poori kaaynaat use tumse milaane ki saazish mein lagg jaati hai (If you desire something will all your heart, the entire universe will make it happen for you),” the die-hard fan quoted a dialogue from Khan-starrer “Om Shanti Om” while sharing a picture with the actor.
Needless to say, Pillay’s post went viral online and Instagram users cheered for him in the comments section.
“Finally. Congratulation. Very happy for you,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “You did it.”
A third user remarked, “Finally. We want a video now.”
“Big win,” a fourth user chimed in.
Another person wrote, “Literally, all your hard work paid off.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is riding high on the success of his recent release “Jawan”. It has now become the highest grossing Hindi film ever.
