Early Twitter reactions to Kaantha have been overwhelmingly positive, praising Dulquer Salmaan for a career-best performance and Bhagyashri Borse for her impressive debut.

Dulquer Salmaan and Bhagyashri Borse starrer Kaantha screened on November 13 in selected theatres for a limited audience, and early reviews of the film have already created hype. The movie is going to be released in theatres on November 14.

Several viewers took to their X (formerly Twitter) and shared their early reviews of the Tamil period drama thriller film.

Kaantha has notably received positive reviews from the audience so far, with several complimenting Dulquer and Bhagyashri’s performances.

One person tweeted, “The most unique script selection... UNIQUE #DulquerSalmaan. Hope for the best. Sitaramam is best. Appreciate your Efforts behind the Giveaway Brother.”



Another added, “Peak Acting. Huge Respect to you Sir @_dulQuer #Kaantha.”


However, another viewer was left in awe by Bhagyashri’s acting.

The tweet reads, “Those few seconds were enough to show what #BhagyashriBorse as Kumari is capable of!  A beautiful debut in #Kaantha is on the way.. Keep an eye on her!”



One person shared their thoughts on Kaantha, giving it a 4.5/5 rating and calling it an outstanding, gripping murder mystery drama with a stunning screenplay. They praised Dulquer for delivering one of his best recent performances and also commended Bhagyashri Borse, calling it a must-watch film.

Another viewer wrote, “#Kaantha - 4.5/5 !! Outstanding gripping murder mystery drama. Stunning screenplay. OMG.. One of the best role of @dulQuer in recent times. Award winning performance. Huge shoutout for #bhagyashriborse as well. MUST WATCH FILM.”


And many viewers also felt that Dulquer should win a National Award for his performance in Kaantha.

“Dulquer owns the screen as a flawed 1950s superstar in this slick period thriller. Slow-burn start, twisty 2nd half, retro vibes on point. DQ National Award contender? Kaantha (8.5/10),” tweeted another.
