Bollywood superstar Govinda was recently rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious on Tuesday night. He is currently admitted to the CritiCare Hospital in Juhu.
According to NDTV, the actor's friend and legal advisor Lalit Bindal revealed that the 61-year-old passed out late last night at home due to disorientation. After a phone consultation, the actor received medication before being taken to the hospital.
Lalit told the outlet, He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am.”
However, Lalit avoided giving further information before saying, “He has undergone several tests and is now awaiting the reports.”
Govinda previously made headlines after he misfired his licensed revolver, resulting in a bullet wound to his leg in October of last year. The actor was immediately taken to Criticare Hospital, which is close to his home in Juhu, and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. After an hour of surgery, the bullet was removed.
His manager revealed at the time that Govinda was storing his licensed revolver in a cupboard when he dropped it, and it went off.

After being discharged from the hospital, Govinda recalled the incident and shared, “I was leaving for a show in Kolkata and it was early morning around 5... woh giri aur chal padi (it fell and misfired)... I was stunned and then I saw a fountain of blood coming out.”
The actor further revealed that his doctor accompanied him to the hospital. Meanwhile, Govinda was recently spotted outside Breach Candy Hospital as he went to meet the veteran actor Dharmendra.
