Dharmendra health updates

Bollywood actor Dharmendra was reportedly discharged from Breach Candy hospital on Wednesday morning. The family has decided to take the veteran actor home for treatment. Bobby Deol was spotted with the ambulance on Wednesday morning outside their home.

However, Dharmendra's representatives have issued an official statement after he was discharged from the hospital.

The statement reads, "Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."

According to PTI, Dharmendra's treating doctor, Dr Pratit Samdani, said, "Dharmerndra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him treatment at home."

Bobby Deol was recently spotted exiting the hospital with an ambulance following him to his home.

The veteran actor has been in and out of the hospital for weeks due to age-related ailments.

Following the hospitalisation, several social media posts declared Dharmendra dead, leading to tributes from Chiranjeevi, Javed Akhtar, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, among others.

However, Hema Malini and Esha Deol later issued statements confirming that the veteran actor is recovering well. They also called out the media for spreading false rumours of Dharmendra’s death.

Dharmendra’s PR representatives have previously shared an update on the veteran actor’s health. The statement revealed that the doctors have been monitoring him closely, and there is no immediate cause for alarm. The team has urged fans not to panic or believe unverified reports circulating online.

Dharmendra, who is regarded as the He-Man of Bollywood, has acted in over 300 films over the course of six decades. Following his 1960 debut in Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, he went on to give standout performances in timeless films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Satyakam, and Phool Aur Patthar. Generations of people loved and respected him for his easy charm and adaptability.
