On "The Great Indian Kapil Show", Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal discussed how he and his wife, Grecia Munoz (referred to as Gia Goyal on the show), recently became delivery agents for Zomato for a day. Married in February, the couple set out in Gurgaon on a bike, wearing Zomato's red t-shirts, and documented the experience in multiple videos.
Goyal shared that customers were surprised, particularly when Gia delivered their orders. “They just kept staring,” he said, imitating the shocked reactions of the customers in a teaser clip from the episode.
Goyal also mentioned the fun and unexpected nature of their delivery experience, highlighting the positive engagement it fostered with customers.
Indfosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty, the second featured couple, spoke about their partnership over their 47-year marriage. Recalling his early impressions of his wife, Murthy described her presence as “a breath of fresh air” from the first time she visited his family’s home.
When host Kapil Sharma asked if they had grown to mirror each other over the years, Sudha Murty remarked that she has adopted some of her husband’s qualities, becoming both punctual and dedicated to work. A well-known writer and philanthropist, Murty added that they avoid disputes by refraining from criticism, joking that Murthy has never complained about her cooking—even as she humorously credited her culinary skills for his weight.
The couple avoids complaints to preserve harmony. “I cook terribly, but he never complains. Look at Murthy saab's weight, thanks to my cooking," she joked, gesturing to his weight as a testament to her cooking.
