A change from the existing sprawling bungalows and lush green lawns in Lutyens’ Delhi, the new housing for 184 MPs will be in the form of flats, which PM Modi pointed out will improve the “ease of living” for them. (Image: X)

Two staff quarters with kitchenettes and attached bathrooms are also included in these new apartments for MPs. The flats have separate puja rooms, modular kitchens fitted with cooking hobs and chimneys. There are separate entrances for staff, MPs, and their assistants. Two basement levels, stilt, and surface parking can together accommodate about 612 vehicles. (Image: X)

A six-storey amenity block -- housing shops, a service centre, dispensary, community hall, canteen, club, gym, yoga rooms, and guest accommodations -- also forms part of the housing complex. Keeping safety in mind, the complex is secured with CCTV cameras and boom barriers and for convenience, there will be ATM and public toilets. (Image: X)
