Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan once again reminded the world why he is adored not only as an actor but also as a father. As the actor celebrated his 60th birthday, social media filled up with love from fans and colleagues, but it was his daughter Suhana Khan’s heartfelt post that truly stood out. Her birthday message and his affectionate reply quickly became the talk of the internet.

Suhana, who has been stepping into her own spotlight as an actress, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of their upcoming film King. The picture showed two coffee mugs side by side, one labeled “King” and the other “King’s Princess.” It was a simple image that spoke volumes about their close bond. In response, Shah Rukh commented, “Love you, sweetheart… but maybe less black coffee for now. You’re still my little girl.” The playful yet tender reply melted hearts across social media, reflecting the warmth and humor that have always defined his relationship with his children.

For Shah Rukh, who has often spoken about the importance of family, moments like these capture a softer side of the man known as Bollywood’s “King.” Despite his busy schedule and massive fan following, he continues to make time for personal connections. His reply to Suhana’s post became symbolic of every parent watching their child grow while still holding on to memories of their younger days.

The interaction also reignited excitement for King, the father-daughter duo’s much-anticipated collaboration. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film features an ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Raghav Juyal. Reports suggest the film will explore two timelines with multiple antagonists and will showcase Shah Rukh in a never-before-seen avatar as an assassin.

On his birthday, the makers revealed the film’s teaser, which ended with the line, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam – King.” The announcement confirmed that the film will release in cinemas in 2026.
