Lloyds Group promoter's family buys Rs 107-crore property in Worli

Abha Mukesh Gupta and Shreekrishna Mukesh Gupta — related to Mukesh Gupta, chairman, founder and board member of Lloyds Group — have bought a 13,207 sq ft triplex apartment in the posh Worli area for Rs 107.15 crore, documents accessed by data and analytical firm Zapkey show.

The apartment is located in the luxury Sea Crest building — a 40-storey sea-facing project comprising of less than 20 exclusive apartments.

The seller is Sugee Developers Pvt Ltd and the sale deed was registered on June 26. The property has 16 car parking slots and the apartment was sold at Rs 81,133 per sq ft.

Queries sent to Gupta did not elicit any response.

Lloyds Enterprises is a part of Lloyds Group which includes Lloyds Metals and Energy, Lloyds Luxuries, Lloyds Realty Developers Limited and Lloyds Engineering Works. The business operations include importing, exporting, and dealing in iron and steel, alloy steel scrap, steel tubes, pipes, and wires.

Big ticket transactions in Mumbai

In April, VP Nandakumar, the managing director and CEO of Kerala-based non-banking financial company Manappuram Finance Ltd bought a sea-facing apartment in Mumbai's prime Carter Road for Rs 41.25 crore, Moneycontrol reported.

Similarly, on June 20, a luxury bungalow in Mumbai's Juhu Vile Parle residential enclave, home to several Bollywood actors, was put on auction. The bungalow, located in Nutan Laxmi Cooperative Society, about a kilometre from Juhu Beach, has eight floors, including a duplex on the top one. The project spans 7,200 sq ft, with only one 4BHK per floor.

And in June, actress Triptii Dimri, known for roles in films like Animal, Bulbbul, and Qala among others, bought a luxury property in Mumbai's Bandra West. off Carter Road, for Rs 14 crore.
