Zeenat Aman reminisces about Raj Kapoor era with rare throwvack video, writes "it’s surreal to see this"

Zeenat Aman shares video with Raj Kapoor

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has recently shared glimpses of the ‘bygone era’ with Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna Kapoor. She shared a video montage featuring clips of Raj Kapoor’s house celebration.

Zeenat Aman took to her Instagram video to share a video which showed the veteran actress having a conversation with Raj Kapoor and also dancing with him. Alongside the video, she penned in the caption that the social media series that she had started about Raj Kapoor has now come to an end.

She wrote in the caption, “Glimpses of a bygone era… I have already written so much about Rajji, so I will end my series on the Kapoor’s with this montage. These frames are from a celebration at the Kapoor household. Krishna ji was an impeccable host to the who’s who of Tinseltown that night.”

She further noted, “For those of you who missed my posts on Rajji. I am sharing them to my stories for your reading pleasure. Oh… it’s surreal to see this!”

Zeenat Aman concluded her post while writing, “As always, no copy right infringement is intended. I’m simple sharing a treasured record from my life.”

While announcing the series in late April, she reflected on how the Kapoor khandaan shaped her career.

Zeenat Aman and Raj Kapoor have shared screen space in multiple popular movies like Gopichand Jasoos,  Vakil Babu and others. She has also starred with other Kapoors in films like Eeshwar, Gopichand Jasoos, Chandi Sona, Abdullah, Vakil Babu and others. However, the veteran actress’ most iconic collaboration was with Shashi Kapoor in the 1978 film Satyam Shivam Sundaram.
