Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is riding high on the super success of his last two releases, Brahmastra and Animal, spoke about the sequels to both the movies.
Ranbir, who will soon be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, confirmed that he will be working with his wife and actor Alia Bhatt in Brahmastra part 2.
In conversation with Deadline Hollywood during the Red Sea Festival underway in Jeddah right now, he spoke about Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park and when they are going to begin shooting for the movie.
Ranbir revealed that since Sandeep is currently busy shooting another film, they will only start work on Animal Park in 2027.
Ranbir further said that the Animal director plans to make the movie in three parts and that the second part is called Animal Park.
"We should start that film in 2027. It’s a bit away. He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director) just kind of flirted with what he wants to do with the movie. It wants to make it over three parts. The second part is called Animal Park. We have been sharing ideas from the first film itself and how we want to take this story forward," he said.
Talking in detail about how his character will shape out in Animal Park, Ranbir Kapoor said he will get to play two characters in the sequel.
"It is very exciting because now I get to play two characters—the antagonist and the protagonist. It is an extremely exciting project with an extremely original director. I am very excited to be a part of it," he further added.

Explaining how it will happen, Ranbir explained that towards the end of Part 1, the antagonist had got a plastic surgery done, and hence he resembled the protagonist. And that is from where the second part will take off.
Further, he also spoke about his close friend Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra Part 2 and said that the movie is still in the writing stage. The first part was titled Shiva, and Part 2 will be called Dev.
When the interviewer asked him if his wife and actor Alia Bhatt would be a part of the second installment of Brahmastra, Ranbir confirmed, 'Of course.'
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has wrapped up the shooting of Ramayana Part 1. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana, will feature Sai Pallavi as Sita Maa, and Yash will be seen in the role of Raavan.
Ranbir is also shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
